Is it possible to join ISP after freshman year?
If you are interested in ISP, you should apply as an incoming freshman—at the same time that you submit your general admission application to Northwestern. If you are a current freshman at Northwestern or another institution and are interested in transferring into ISP sophomore year, you should contact the program coordinator to discuss your options. Please be aware that credit from non-ISP courses is usually not accepted toward a degree in Integrated Science. Transfer into ISP after sophomore year is not possible unless a student is planning to stay an additional (fifth) year at Northwestern.
