Is it possible to integrate handsets for housekeeping staff that connects wireless to telephone?

There are a couple of ways of doing this. Polycom’s wireless solutions already have this kind of implementation set up for hotel staff (managers, maintenance crews, maids, etc.). For example, when the guest is checked in, the maid can receive this information to her handset using location-based messaging. The message will go to the phone that is located in closest proximity to the appointed room for that guest’s check-in. There are other solutions, as well. For example, EnGenius has a wireless solution called DuraFon with a one-mile reach, the most powerful wireless analog phone in the market. It has walkie-talkie capabilities that can span up to 12 floors without service interruption.
