Is it possible to install cameras into bullets, so we could see where a bullet travels?
With the new digital technology CMOS cameras, yes you ‘probably’ could in larger bullets but as pointed out in an earlier answer, it would have to record so many frames that it probably wouldn’t have the storage space for anything meaningful to be obtained. A new 40mm grenade launcher round has been developed using a CMOS camera, it’s called the HUNTIR and although this ammunition is easily three times the size of most rifle or pistol bullets, the camera can still only film five minutes worth of footage. And even then, it is transmitted as a real-time streaming video and it only begins recording after it has left the carrier ‘grenade’ and is dangling from its parachute (much like a parachute flare does). So it is obviously going a whole lot slower than any bullet when it is recording and even when it is fired, the 40mm grenade only travels around 76 metres a second (250 fps) compared to the 200-300 metres/second (approx 1000 fps) of the typical shotgun or pistol or the 800-1000 metres/
