Is it possible to install an automatic starter on a manual car?
I’m assuming you are talking about the REMOTE starter function… You can but it is not suggested. There are kits for manual vehicles. You will need to park your car in neutral with the e-brake on for it to work. The safety switch will not allow it to be remotely started in any other gear. It is not recommended in manual shift cars because you should always park with it in gear. You cannot get this kit for Saabs, as you need to be in reverse to remove the key as a safety feature. If you are talking about just a regular car starter, it is the same for both trannys.
