Is it possible to have a really nice low-budget wedding?
Yes, it is possible to have a nice, inexpensive wedding. First off, you don’t need an expensive gown. Since you are getting married in the spring, look at prom gowns. Some of them are very beautiful and not nearly as expensive as a true wedding gown. Even a bridesmaid gown in white or ivory could be used as a simple wedding gown. Your fiance could wear a suit, he doesn’t need to wear a tux. As for a venue, try the local fire hall. That’s what my husband and I did. Also, we didn’t serve a full meal. We just served appetizers, which saved us a fortune. We got married at 1pm and by the time the ceremony was over, pictures were done and we got to the fire hall, it was 3pm. People ate lunch before they came to our wedding, so they weren’t ready for a full meal. We got the champagne glasses for the wedding party at the dollar store.
