Is it possible to have a focus (i.e. marine biology) for the Earth & Environmental Sciences portion of the degree, or is the degree designed to be all-encompassing?
The coursework part of the E&ESJ science year is designed to be broad, and to expand the student’s knowledge base in directions not covered in undergraduate work. However, for their required science research project, E&ESJ students often choose to deepen an area of personal interest. Abstracts of E&ESJ science research projects completed to date are available online for your perusal. More questions.
