Is it possible to go to traffic school for 2 red light camera tickets?
Assuming this is California (and the amount of the fine would suggest it is) David C is in error. You can go to traffic school more often than once every 18 months, however, the second dismissal is not confidential and can be used by your insurance company to set rates in some situations. You must go to court and ask the judge for a second traffic school within 18 months, and it is within his discretion to grant or deny that. There is discussion of this point, as well as others involving red light camera tickets at highwayrobbery.net I do not recommend committing perjury–that is far more serious than a traffic ticket.
You did not mention if the two tickets were obtained in the same jurisdiction (in the same city, county, etc.). Without that information it would be impossible to answer as to whether or not the judge could exercise his discretion to permit you to attend one traffic school for both moving violations. The California vehicle code provides that you can attend traffic school on the terms and conditions set forth by the judge and have a misdemeanor traffic dismissed upon filing proof with the court of successful completion of an approved traffic school. You can only do this once within each 18 month period of time.
