Is it possible to get pregnant while not ovulating?
That depends on what you mean by your question. If you are talking about not ovulating at all – then, no, you can’t get pregnant. If you are talking about getting pregnant from intercourse on a day when you are not ovulating – then yes, it is possible. Sperm can survive, in the right conditions, for about 5 days (eggs only survive for 12 – 24 hours after ovulation). So, for example, if you had intercourse on day 8 of your cycle and ovulated on day 11, you could get pregnant as a result of that intercourse, even though it wasn’t on the day of ovulation.
