Anytime semen gets into the vagina, regardless of how it gets there, there is the possibility of pregnancy. So, if there is very close contact of penis and vaginal opening when ejaculation occurs, especially around ovulation, it is possible for pregnancy to occur. ALthough it is possible the odds are pretty slim though. Nature intended the semen to be deposited nearer to the cervix through intercourse. Birth control should always be used once sexual activity is started in a relationship because there is always the possibility that things will get carried too far and intercourse will end up happening, unplanned. If you are getting that involved with someone you should consider getting yourself on a good form of birth control!
