Yes it is!! the criteria are as follows Selection into the nursing program includes several factors related to the criteria for admission. 1. Applicants who have completed the biology and mathematics courses (Anatomy and Physiology I & II, Microbiology, and Statistics) receive one point for every course completed with a “C” or above. Any of the four courses in progress will not be recognized with a point. A maximum of 4 points may be attained. 2. The cumulative GPA of the prerequisite courses completed (Biology and Math) must be 2.5 or above. Students can gain a maximum of 3 points in this area, depending on the range of the GPA as follows: 1 = 2.5 – 2.9 2 = 3.0 – 3.5 3 = 3.6 – 4.0 The courses must have been completed within 5 years prior to the time of admission.
