well first of all you are nuts for getting a tattoo but no i would not listen to this wannabe psycho oops psychic she is not really a psychic she is a psycho. and as long as you make sure that the place is clean and has a good rep. then go for it .

NO NO NO you can get diseases from tattoos…. true if the equipment is new then it is safe…but not all tattoo artist are clean! You can get hepatitis or staph or other things! Be careful and make 100% sure you know things are clean!

well yes it is possible and not just the shady tattoo shop have less then perfect stuff. its kinda a stretch if you SEE them use new stuff but yes it could totally happen.

you can definitely get diseases getting a tattoo. the only thing you can do is be as careful as possible and live with the outcome of the risk involved.

The answer is yes.. A dirty tattoo gun can cause infections and even transfer disease from one to another if not cleaned correctly. There are strict rules and regulations a “shop” must take in order to have run a tattoo parlor. Now if they actually follow it after the inspectors leave? who knows. Same thing as a dentist and their tools can transfer diseases. Dentist use a Autoclave to insure all their tools get clean and will not spread germs or disease.
