Yes. For example… On weddings where guests are text messaging congratulations or best wishes to the bride and groom, a copy of those messages is given to the bride and groom to have. Same for Happy Birthday wishes for the birthday VIP, etc…. Since the cell phone numbers are not revealed, though, to know who actually sent a message, the person sending the text would have to include their name or some identifying information in their text.
