Monday July 20, 2009 Looking around the world, especially in today’s economy, it is difficult to imagine life without loans, borrowing money and debt. Businesses use loans to cover expenses, pay payroll and to grow. People used loans to purchase big ticket items such as cars or homes, to meet immediate needs and for other reasons as well. But is it possible to get by without borrowing money? It is possible. You can even purchase your home with cash by saving up for it, but most people would not want to wait that long to purchase a home. You can pay cash for your car, and your vacation. You can budget for emergencies and make financial choices that lead you away from borrowing money. It does take discipline. You have to stick to a budget, track your budget, and make sacrifices.
