Is it possible to fit a bedroom carpet with the bed still in the room?

I’m a carpet fitter. If the room is much bigger than the bed there should be no problem, I would fit one side of the room then move the bed onto the fitted section and finish fitting. But if the bed is not much smaller than the room (e.g. bed takes up 1/3 of room), your only choice is to dismantle.
