Is it possible to exchange jack plug connection on a 12vdc adaptor,for spade connections?
You can put any kind of connector onto the wire coming out of the adaptor, but such modifications invalidate the warranty. I assume the current plug is seal-fixed to the end and if this is the case snip it off using a pair of side cutters as close to the plug as you can get. If you have no side cutters, do it with a small sharp knife by laying down the plug and gently pressing the blade through the wire. Cut through at a slight angle so that if the knife slips it goes away from your fingers. Small sharp objects cause big messy wounds (I’ve got a livid scar on the inside of my hand obtained in 1988 by not being careful enough with a very sharp knife and it was two hours clearing up the blood stains). take the outer sheath off the wire about an inch or so with some strippers, or by gently scoring through with either side cutters or knife; the latter option is tricky and takes practice so go slowly and carefully if you are doing that.
