Is it possible to dye silk chiffon fabric?
IF the fabric is 100% silk and not synthetic then yes, you should be able to dye it. Silk requires acid dyeing, which means you need to add an acid to the dye bath. Acetic acid is good and it’s commonly found in the supermarket under its more common name of Vinegar. Use a good quality dye and follow the instruction that come with the dye.
