You can use their machine to purchase all the music you want from iTunes and put it on your device. I highly recommend, however, that you enable the “Manage Music & Videos Manually” flag so that you don’t accidentally sync your iPod with a library that has NONE of your original songs. After you purchase your songs from iTunes and put the songs on your iPod, you’ll want to “Deauthorize” that computer from your Apple account (in iTunes, click Store > Deauthorize Computer). This will remove the computer you used to purchase your music from using up one of your 5 licensense for non-iTunes Plus music. 🙂 When you get back home, you can use 3rd party software apps (such as TouchCopy by WideAngle Software) to retrieve songs one (or two, or three, or more) at a time. It may be easier to actually toss the MP3 files onto a disk or a thumb drive to transport home and stash on your home computer. Hope this helps!
