Aaargh (like the castle) seems not ! Could not downgrade back to 1.30.7 ! So take care because it means you’ll have to get on using the 1.42.2, there’s no return to the Ping trick and tools described here that use it (unless you restore the exploit in the 1.42.2 ping.asp 😉 Regards, lulu It might be possible to downgrade back to any previous firmware by using the tools from the Linksys GPL-package to convert this firmware-image into “code.bin”-format and then use it with the TFTP flash-procedure described earlier. PMON shouldn’t care much about which version of the firmware you feed it to flash, as long as it’s in the right format. I haven’t tried this trick yet, but I do use the TFTP-method through PMON regularly to load new modified 1.42.2-firmware onto my WRT54G. It just so much faster and easier.
