Is it possible to determine early pregnancy with the Detector?
Yes, it is possible in the determined period after insemination (in cows it is after 3-4 weeks). If the Detector’s readings still remain high (in cows it is about 300 units or more), it means that the animal is pregnant. Obviously the interpretation is valid for completely healthy animals. Decreasing readings (in cows about 200 units or less) after insemination indicate that the animals are not pregnant and that subsequent heat is approaching.
