Is it possible to cut a perfect circle out of bronze with a glass cutter ?
No – other than scratching a line for you to follow with a portable jig saw or band saw. Glass cutter wheels are a blunt wedge of 124 to 145 degrees that scores the surface of the glass so a crack that is started will follow the score. It will penetrate no significant distance into bronze. For marking bronze for a circle, unless keeping the center smooth was an absolute priority, a slight dent in the center and a piece of wood with two nails or two screws through it 9″ apart will make a scoring compass for 18″ disk.
