Is it possible to create a Utopian society where equality, justice and freedom prevail.?
“Utopia” is derived from the Greek term that means “no where.” Therefore, from its inception, it symbolized an impossible condition. However, over the centuries, there have been many attempts made at creating utopian societies. Karl Marx had a good idea, but it was corrupted by the communists. Moreover, pure Marxism has never existed in any large-scale communities as Marx envisioned it. The closest has probably been Cuba, but even there most of the power is vested in the state. Marx thought that this was a necessary transitional period, but no meaningful organization of people has been able to achieve the end state.
