Is it possible to create a breathable atmosphere on Mars?

0

yes it would be possible would take centuries tho we know how to warm a planet up we are doing it to earth right now ie global warming all we need to do is add greenhouse gases to mars atmosphere, once the planet is warmed up somewhat it would melt the ice caps on mars im not sure how much water this is but we do know there is water on mars in the form of ice after that it would simply be a case of cleansing the soil and planting resilient plants we know plants do grow in the coldest regions of earth so it is likely they could survive on mars and as the atmosphere begins to form more and more plants could be added life would be extremely harsh at first but it would be possible and maybe in 5-600 years man could be walking about on mars with no breathing apparatus
