Is it possible to correct the inventorship of a patent application?

0

Yes, it is possible to correct the inventorship, by either adding or cancelling one or more inventor(s). Generally, a Petition to the United States Patent and Trademark Office is required along with a new Declaration and Power of Attorney form and a statement for the inventor(s) to be added/deleted indicating that the error in naming or failing to name such individual(s) as inventor occurred without any deceptive intent on his/her/their part. A new Declaration and Power of Attorney form, signed by all remaining inventors, should also accompany the Petition.
