Is it possible to convert an existing Futaba 6EX to a 2.4GHz FASST system?
Unfortunately, there is not a cost-effective way to modify an existing 6EX to function with the FASST equipment. Doing so would require modifications to the software and hardware of the existing 6EX; these costs would far outweigh the costs of purchasing a new FASST system. At Futaba, we do care about our customers and offer the 6EX FASST system in a transmitter/receiver only version. This saves you money and allows you to swap out your existing receiver and utilize your existing servos! Or, you can completely customize the servos used to suit your personal tastes.
