Is it possible to convert an automatic transmission to manual?

No, it is not possible to convert an auto to a manual transmission. You would have to remove the auto trans, and all the components related to it and replace it with the manual. You would probably have to make some computer changes since it controls the engine and transmission. With vehicles anything is possible, but this would require a lot of mods. You would first have to find a manual transmission that would work (prob from an f150/250) and a person willing to do it for you. Then you need to get ready to spend some money. Just to start you would need to remove the center console and cut a hole for the shifter, add the clutch, and clutch pedal/MC, new crossmember, new drive shaft, new steering column (if it is a column shift auto) lots of work. Not to mention all the contingencies that will come up. If you want a cost, I would say over $10,000 assuming you used new parts and payed someone else to do all the fab and install work. If you can truly afford anything buy a Porsche Cayenne
