Is it possible to convert a QuickTime (.3gp) video into a file type recognized by Windows Media Player?
There are a few different software packages that work well for video conversion — but most are commercial and run $20 to $40 for a licensed copy. There’s a new Beta online video conversion site where you upload the video and they email a link for you to download the converted video. I tried it out a few times and it actually works well, and is completely free. They will do a conversion of the Quicktime files into a variety of formats including .MPG and .AVI which are both natively supported by Windows Media Player.
