Is it possible to conditional format an excel row to auto hide/unhide?

Conditional formatting doesn’t provide an option to hide a row or column. However, you can simulate hidden information using conditional formatting. What I have done is to format the font color white if specific conditions are true. This has the effect of hiding the data from view because a white font on a white cell is invisible. If your cells are colored something else, simply choose that color in your conditional formatting. Another approach is to build a display sheet in conjunction with your data sheet. So instead of manipulating the data sheet itself, a display sheet can use conditions to retrieve only the data you want displayed. This method will be more complex but your results can be very impressive indeed. I can send you an example if you want. Just send me your email address with a link to this posting and I will provide. Otherwise, if you want entire rows or columns to hide, then a macro could do it. Hope this helps! Kind Regards, QwertyKPH @ Yahoo !
