Is it possible to conceive with abnormal periods?
After a miscarriage it can take several months before your body is healed and back to normal. Periods that once were regular can be irregular. After my miscarriage it took another 7 months before I became pregnant with my son. Prior to that, I wasn’t perfectly regular anyway. I used a basal thermometer to track my temperature and a paper chart (it was 10 years ago). I found the best way to use the basal thermometer wasn’t in my mouth, though. You’re supposed to do it while still lying in bed to get the most accurate reading and I would keep falling asleep and drop the thermometer out of my mouth! A friend told me to actually put it in my vagina. It gives a very accurate reading and you don’t have to worry about it falling out if you fall asleep. I’ve heard there are new ways to track when you are ovulating (my youngest is 5 so I only used this method), but this was my experience.
