Is it possible to completely remove red semi permanent dye from hair?
Use washing up liquid to fade the colour. Red is very hard to get out and you might find that even if you dye over it, right now it will keep fading to red. You need to fade the colour as much as possible. The above is good as is head and shoulders shampoo. Once the colour is a little lighter you can dye it, go for a shade that DOES NOT contain the word warm! Go for cool browns or ash browns etc but the one maybe a shade lighter but close to your natural colour. This should get rid of the warmness. You could even go back to the salon and tell them you are not satisfied and they should do a colour correction for free. I have heard of colour b4 by scott cornwall? and it removes hair dye to your natural colour so you can dye over again. It is still hard to get the red out though. You can order it on boots online website.
