Is it possible to change a mouse from nocturnal to diaurnal?

It’s possible… but probably not in the best interest of the mouse. By nature certain animals are nocturnal, like owls and such. It would take a lot of time, patience, and delicate procedures to gradually change the mouses’ normal pattern. And if you try and force it suddenly, the mouse might loose sleep, become confused, and (worse case scenario) probably die of shock or lack of sleep. Mice have high metabolisms, so if it’s awake too long (again, in the example that you’re keeping it up all day and then it tries to go about its normal buisness at night) then it might starve if it’s awake all the time; because the metabolism slows when you sleep, it preserves some necessary fat the mouse needs. If you want a diaurnal pet, though, then a mouse that’s naturally nocturnal might not be the best idea. Best leave animals in as normal a state as possible.
