Is it possible to block applications silently, ie; without showing a message box?

Yes, you can block applications silently. On the BrowseControl Console select a Group and click on the menu select Tools –> Group Settings. On the General Tab, delete the message displayed under “App Blocker Message”. This will now prevent all the selected applications from running, without displaying a warning message to the user.
