New in the 7.1.0 version is the feature where one can fail a device while it is undergoing testing within DMM. What happens after the device fails is determined by the “Stop on Error” option you choose for that test step (you can continue to the next step, stop all testing on the drive, or run an external program). In the 7.1.0 version is included the executable AsyncTest.exe – within this application you can asynchronously fail a device during testing within DMM, or, if you like, you can use the source code contained in the AsyncTest project and put it into your own application.
