Is it possible to access the cumulative ascent/descent values in meters during recording?
The fast cumulative button is a feature in the Altimax and Observer models. In these models you will have both cumulative ascent and descent values during recording. In the 6-series watches you can choose to have the cumulative ascent value as shortcut on the bottom line in the hiking mode but it is not possible to have information about descent during recording. To see the cumulative ascent during recording the logbook must be running. Cumulative ascent and descent can also be viewed in the chrono and logbook memory after recording.
