Is it possible to abuse RYM simply by rating albums?
No! Members of the site have the right to give any rating to any release. If a user wants to rate an entire artists’s discography 0.5, he/she has the right to do so. If a user wants to rate an album they haven’t heard, he/she has the right to do so. The only case in which this activity is abusive is when the user creates multiple accounts for the purposes of having more influence than one person normally has.
