Is it possible that the teachings of gods in ancient greece may be true?
The Gods of ancient greece were the peoples way of explaining the things that they did not understand. They believed in them the same way that many people believe in Jesus and Jehova. Now, I am probably going to offend some people here, the question is whether or not the stories are true. Many people believe that water turned into wine, so why couldn’t there be a creature who turns men to stone. Eve was tempted by a serpent, Pandora was curious about a box. There is a tremendous corralation between ancient beliefs and todays. Another largely ignored fact is that groups of people seperated by oceans came up very similar mythology. The Jolly Mon legend of the Carribbean and the Greek legend of Orpheus are eerily similar. There are a couple of reasons that we do not put any stock into the beliefs of the Greeks. One is that modern science has shown no “Gods” living on mount Olympus and has explained much of what the Greeks attributed to the Gods. Another reason is the power of Christianity
