Is it possible that the good economic figures may change when the global crisis hits Poland?
For the last years Poland’s economy has been experiencing a spectacular development that has been widely recognized worldwide. It is good that we got used to positive news as it substantially boosts our morale. The Polish economy does have solid foundations as well as transparent financial, economic and political institutions. In fact, the Polish stable banking system saved the economy from numerous negative incidents observed in other countries. Independent institutions like the OECD, the European Commission and the International Monetary Fund confirm the strong position of the Polish economy in the context of other economies in the European Union. This year the Ministry of Finance will actively participate in actions realized in the frame of the “Stability and development plan” to help maintain this situation.
