Yes.For Component II,CDC may fund proposals out of rank order to ensure the geographic dispersion of funded projects across the United States. Geographic dispersion is defined as providing at a minimum 1 award in each region of the 10 HHS Regions (http://www.hhs.gov/about/regionmap.html). CDC will provide justification for any decision to fund out of rank order.
