Is it possible Tesla technology could ever create some kind of weapon?
Tesla coils could be dangerous if work was put into it, but the truth of it is that they are much to big to ever be a handheld device, take far too much energy to be effective. There are much simpler weapons that would be much more effective, and they would limited in their uses anyway, as electricity is unpredictable, and could not go where you intended to fire. Also, if the electricity didn’t have a path it could go, it wouldn’t fire at all. So in short, there is no point in developing a tesla weapon, unless it was someone doing it simply for the curiosity. The only advantage tesla weapons would ever have would be that they could take out things in an instant, and they wouldn’t leave any residue after being used. Some tesla weapons already exist as prototypes I think, but I doubt that they will ever become commonly used.
