There are no ingredients in ZUD® which would leave black spots on porcelain surfaces. ZUD® has been thoroughly tested to safely remove rust and stains from porcelain surfaces. However, when the surface of the porcelain tub becomes worn and thin, the cast iron beneath the porcelain finish may become exposed, which would give the appearance of black spots on the surface.
