Is it possible for two VMware ESX Servers to access an IBM EXP400 external disk enclusure?

What I need to do is to connect two IBM x445 servers to an external disk cabinet, and the best thing would be for them to share the same SCSI-channel. I have dual SCSI ESMs on the EXP400, so connecting both servers is not a problem, just letting the ServeRAID 6M-controllers have different SCSI IDs (6 and 7). The ServeRAID and EXP400 documentation is not very clear telling if this is possible, and how to configure it (i.e. even with the latest ServeRAID documentation, 7.10B) If anyone have experience, please tell!
