Magnetic stripe information cannot be read. The sensors’ built-in permanent magneto will generate magnetic flux leakage of approx. 95kA/m, which causes damage to the magnetic information on cash cards. Only if the magnetic information has a coercivity of 95kA/m or higher, can that information be read.
