Is it possible for Privacy Software to erase the index.dat files?
A. Privacy Software can erase on the content of the index.dat files but not the file itself as it is permanently used by the operating system. The index.dat files will be erased by default; the only thing you have to do is select the check boxes for the cookies and temporary internet files from the Privacy Keeper settings.
