Is it possible for an applicant with a Bachelors degree to enter the PhD program directly?
All students accepted who hold a Bachelor’s degree enter the MEng program. However, after one year in the MEng (Thesis) program, students “performing at a distinctly superior level in both research and course work”, can petition the Department to transfer to the PhD program without submitting a Master’s thesis.
