Is It Possible for a Lab/Chow Mix to Resemble a Rotweiler?
If you had not said otherwise I would never have guessed Chow Chow, it certainly does not show up well. It’s possible the Lab had some Rottweiler in him, thought it’s also possible that there were two fathers to the litter (if a second dog had gotten ahold of her during the heat cycle there can be puppies from each male). You also have to keep in mind the color, while it does seem to scream Rottweiler, it’s not necessarily true. Rottweilers are well known for that color pattern, but other breeds have it and could have passed it on as well. Add: Honestly, to me though it looks like Rottweiler characteristics, but the only way to be 100% is blood tests which can get rather costly. Personally I would say just love the dog and not worry about the breeds too much.
