Is it possible for a house sparrow and a zebra finch to have babies?

0

Zebra Finches and House Sparrows cannot mate. They are two different species from two different families. House Sparrows can only interbreed with the Eurasian Tree Sparrow, their closest relative. People may think that House Sparrows cannot legally be owned as pets in the U.S., however, they are introduced birds and can legally be kept as pets, along with the European Starling, the Common Myna, the Hill Myna, and any other introduced species.
