I noticed that many Asian boys and men do not grow much hair, including facial hair. But that doesn’t mean all Asian males do not grow much facial hair. I think it depends on your gene. You may start growing much hair in a few years or maybe you are born that way. It helps to see your parents, their siblings, and their parents. If you have a father and/or uncles who do not grow much facial hair, maybe you have genes from them. I think for a Korean, 17 2/1 years of age is still very young to start growing faical hair compared to other ethnic groups.
