Is it possible both theories of creation are correct?

Of course it could be possible for some elements of both theories to be correct but the hard line stance from the purveyors of both theories makes it difficult for others to rationally discuss the possibility of such a unified theory. A lot of people with scientific background believe that a “creator” (not necessarily the christan concept of a creator) is a possibility as the Catalyst for “setting off” the big bang as such a belief would not affect their overall truth of the big bang as a theory at all. Although christians believe that each life form was created distinctly and individually many believe that most, if not all, lifeforms on this planet have evolved in some way since the beginning of existence. But yeah, put a question like this on Yahoo/Answers and it usually just degrades into people calling each other idiots.

What is your question?
