In San Diego people keep high fin sharks with goldfish in outdoor pools or fish ponds so as long as you have goldfish for the shark to swim with I think you should be OK. I am surprised that you are keeping tiger barbs with your orandas because they usually are quite nippy. You might think of getting another tank to put all your tropical fish species into so your goldfish and high fin shark will have more room.
