Is it physically impossible to live on unemployment benefits?
NO, because no matter what benefit amount you get, the greedy republicans will always raise your rent by raising their company’s product costs. The Republicans want you to stay a work slave so they can keep tapping your little raises you get in your pay checks. If there was realistic caps on how much you could charge for an item or service, then people who are struggling would be able to save their money so they could better themselves, like building their own house or opening their own business. When you allow people to become a business, it makes more competition for them. Businesses doesn’t like competition. It dictates how much money they can charge for their products or services. The more money you make, the more you’ll pay into the unemployment benefit by way off your tax amounts. When you go to claim your benefits, your set amount is based on how much you have earned. Thus, unless you have earned enough to maximize your benefit amount per month versus how much you owe in bills,
No it isn’t. Been there, done that, hated every minute, but it is not impossible by any stretch. Bear in mind that if you are unemployed and paying rent, you will probably get housing benefit and council tax benefit as well. Makes your jobseekers allowance go a hell of a lot further. Unemployment basically makes it a good time to stop smoking, stop drinking and get healthier, because those who say they can’t eat healthily on less money are talking nonsense. Vegetables are not expensive, nor is pasta, rice and many other things healthier than pizza. Again, been there, done that. Now back to paying taxes and contributing to every other bugger’s unemployment benefits again.
