No, but what IS fake is insulting people who really do like classical music by referring to them as “posers.” You would probably find that you like a lot more classical music than you realize… once you get past the instant gratification stage with your listening. You have to realize that classical music does not generally have the instant appeal of pop music. Some pieces you just have to ‘wear in’ a little before you develop an appreciation for them. So back off the prejudice a little, maintain an open mind and realize that classical music has an entirely different purpose than popular music – not so much to move your hips, more to move your mind and soul.
